Dr. Louis S. Harris is a professor of pharmacology and toxicology at Virginia Commonwealth University. The award is designed to collect and exhibit art work in the University's Medical College. "What drives us in science is to create something," explains Harris. "That’s what artists do better than anyone. And that’s why it’s important to put art in front of people in the sciences."
